- Files: Transferred files are sent directly from one device to another over the local Wi-Fi network. Files are never uploaded to or stored on any external server.
- Transfer History: Stored locally on your device using SharedPreferences.
- App Settings: Stored locally on your device using SharedPreferences.
3.2 Security Measures
While we implement reasonable security measures within the App, please be aware that:
- File transfers occur over your local Wi-Fi network. The security of the transfer depends on the security of your network.
- We recommend using a secure, password-protected Wi-Fi network when transferring sensitive files.
- We do not encrypt file transfers within the App. Users are responsible for encrypting sensitive files before transfer if desired.
3.3 Data Deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over your data:
- Clear Transfer History: You can clear your transfer history from within the App.
- Uninstall the App: Uninstalling Flash will remove all locally stored data, including transfer history and app settings.
- Manage Permissions: You can revoke any permissions granted to the App through your device settings.
